Jim Shorthose is a Cultural Research & Creative Consultant based in Nottingham. Jim approached Inbetween to design ’97 Ideas About Creativity’. This project encompassed a cover design and technical layout ahead of publishing.
We designed ’97 Ideas About Creativity’ to capture the essence of the book in a playful sense. Four infographic symbols were created to represent the main chapters. These symbols take centre stage on the bold blue cover, echoing Matisse. The type features the font Futura in its geometric crisp clean form to create a contrast and interplay between image and type.
